The Head Coach’s Track Record:
Having served for many years as a collegiate minister on various campuses and then planting churches targeting the younger generations, Dr. Douglass understands the “ins and outs” of church planting with the pressures and demands made on the minister and his family.
1980-1981 Beginning with 2 families in a home, he helped launch Inglesia Bautista Ridgecrest
1986-1987 assisted the Baptist church in Mt. Pleasant, Utah
1988 as Pastor of First Baptist Church, Gonzales he led the church to constitute Nueva Vida into a church
1989-2001 he became the founding pastor of Yorktown Baptist Church, Corpus Chrisit, Tx. and assisted with the launching of Bay Area Fellowship in
1998
2004 he was the Lead Pastor in the launching of Crosspoint Fellowship in Greenville, Tx
2005 he was the Lead Pastor in starting Gateway Fellowship, Royce City;
2006 he was Lead Pastor of The Gathering in Fort Worth, Tx.
He is now coaching/mentoring over 17 men in the Just Coach Me network featured on this website.
Along with these domestic church plants, he has been active in planting churches abroad in Central America, the Philippines, Canada, West Africa and Central Asia.
